The red, sweet peppers are cultivated in the open field in May, and manually collected in August and September. They are washed, selected, cut off the stem, salted, and placed on drying looms for 3-4 days. During the drying process the peppers are often rotated in the sun. It is a demanding and delicate operation,''I contadini'' farm is among a few companies that work so, ensuring an exceptional result. The work ends with putting peppers into a jar with extra virgin olive oil. To obtain 300 g of dried peppers, it is needed 10 kg of fresh ones. Ingredients: sun-dried red sweet peppers (65%), extra virgin olive oil (30%), capers, garlic, aromatic herbs, wine vinegar, salt, sugar, lemon juice. GMO free product.
